We should not judge - most of us are desperate having over borrowed whether we should have or not. I used to have store cards with the intention of paying it off every month but never did. I used to go to a cash machine and withdraw cash and walk straight into the bank and make my minimum payment with that cash. My own fault but I did sort it out.

Most of us on here have been in that position.

I am not being judgemental but I do think it’s a bit rich for some people to solely blame a financial institution and not take some responsibility themselves. I am not referring to the OP here. Otherwise there’s no lessons learned and it happens to them again and again. I have relatives who do this and the family have now thankfully stopped bailing them out. Some posters have this view unfortunately and others have learned a life lesson
