Further, Northern Rock are currently very anti-IVA proposals where the debt is less than 12 months old.

They simply will not accept them if the debt is less than 12 months old - however they are certainly not as troublesome with regard to voting policy as is often indicated on this forum.

I have had at least 95% of the cases I have presented to this creditor this year accepted, but it does help to understand their criteria in the first instance I suppose.

Hi, my application was refused first time by NR but after further negotiations my IP was able to change their minds. Is this a definate NO or simply a try again. Ours was rejected first time around with no reason, but on further investigation they wanted a better return (now 6 yrs rather than 5). Its worth asking.
