I currently have 10 outstanding payments on my IVA 10 × £85 I'm four years into this and it's due to end December 2022.
Would I be in a position to offer a final sum to clear the remaining £850 that will be due in direct debits.
Or will it be best to wait and just carry on with the last 10 direct debit payments.
I would be prepared to pay £850 in one go if I go approval.
Hi,
Personally I would let it run now. It takes a while to set up a full and final meeting by which time you won't have too much left to pay.
If you did want to go ahead, where would the money be coming from?

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

It takes 2 or 3 months to get a F&F through, so you would not be saving much and the process will also add around £300 - £500 in costs, so the IP and creditors might not be willing to co-operate at this late stage anyway.
For all the hassle involved I would be inclined to agree with Kallis and let it run its course.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Not sure what the benefits are in clearing this close to the end. As kallis and foggy say it takes a few months to sort so unlikely to be done this side of July at earliest ....
I'd focus on what life after iva in January will be like ...
