Hi there,

Can people tell me how there IVA's have gone with Thomas Charles ??and any recommendations would be welcome...

Can't comment on Thomas Charles, but I can give you the benefit of my experience and don't use DFD. Their calculation of my wage is remarkable, my IVA is for 6 years instead of 5, they said it was because HSBC insisted on it, after i learned it was to get another years worth of IP fee's out of me (£75 x 12 plus expenses!!)

You can get reviews on iva.com on all the different firms and IP's. I think all the firms on this site are good. Check out a couple at least, dont make upfront payments unless you know you will get it back should it fail.
If you want to post more of your situation debt, dispopsable income, than, you will get good advice on here, nobody judges anyone ,we have all been there, well most of us.

Thomas charles have had very good comments on here by the members that have used them. synergi very very bad.

I had my iva accepted recently and firm is GRANT THORNTON,though a little slow ,so far appears to have made a good job. You can try Melanie Giles on this site, who is one of the forums expert and an IP.

I went through Thomas Charles and they were excellent! My paperwork was done within a couple of hours and then my case was passed to Accuma. My IVA was accepted last week and I would highly recommend them.

Thanks Poppy, I've been in touch with Julia @ Thomas charles she really put me at ease... just awaiting paperwork now , so far so good, Budget seems reasonable too... just wait and see now
