Hi Roma and welcome.

Which companies have you spoken to and why have you given one a card number?

Are they IVA companies?

Roma - welcome the forum - firstly dont give you card number out at all - if they want it REFUSE and go elsewhere speak to a few companies listed on here - discuss all your options with a few companies and find the solution right for you.

What comapnies are asking for card numbers ??? - it maybe the forum is able to advise

The best way to set up payments in a iva is by standing order it gives you full control.

You should not give any details over the phone until an IVA is in the process of being set up and only to a reputable company.

you need to speak to your Bank now - 24 hours a day - usually on a 0800 number report the card as missing (this will cancel the card)

Dont give you card number OUT to anyone - unless you know who they are - otherwise the BANK may hold you completetly responsible for all the withdrawals

Which other companies are you in contact with? It may be that we can help with advice over them.

Score them off your list and look at www.iva.com for reviews of companies and use that to help you choose who to contact.

You should speak with several companies before making a decision but some are better than others!

You need to make sure that no payments are taken from your card. Report your card lost so that nobody can take anything from there.

The forum is here for you and we will give you all the support and advice that you need.
