Hi!

I have a q:

If We start IVA - and pay every mounth are bills, food etc. and we still will have some money left, we can save them and buy a car? Or we need give them to IVA? We have a car but is's a mess and we have a MOT in november.

Hi again Roma. As long as you pay into the IVA the agreed amount, how you spend your allowances is up to you. For instance, if you are allowed £400 per month housekeeping and only spen £350, then the £50 saved is yours to save, or spend on the kid's, or whatever you wish.

You will have to save first to buy the car, you will not be able to borrow any more.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi Roma,

If you can manage so save some money then it is yours to do with as you wish.

It all adds up and we can save a little bit here and there for unplanned events. My treat is a 2 for a tenner meal in a pub. Nothing special as the price says but means a lot as I know I've saved for it.

Hope you get a newer car x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi Roma,

Do you owe money to your utilities supplier? If so then these debts need to be included in your IVA.

You can try and change supplier but I'm not sure what happens.

You may be able to stay with your current supplier but on a different plan. See if your ip can recommend anything.
