I dont know of any IVA asking for a card payment/or card number upfront- even if this company is responsible - there is no indication where they are storing the card number etc - which mean it is open to fraud/detail theft.
I am sorry guys - but i know it sounds over the top - but i would be cancelling the card and making sure the potential of fraud is reduced.

McCambridge Duffy are a good firm, as are Vincent Bond so you have no worries there.

Not silly - you just didn't know.

You could always try phoning them tomorrow to cancel your card. I am sure they will do it over the phone.

No ROMA - it you want to cancel the transaction - you need to report the card missing - what you have done means the bank will NOT be able to help
(you have agreed to an Automatic card payment) - the BANK will not be able to cancel this.
It needs to be done tonight !!!

You can stop paying your creditors although you will get phone calls and letters from them. It is a good way of building up a bit of an emergency fund before an IVA.

It also means that you can buy your food.

Hi Roma. You could pay smaller payments, but I wouldn't stop them completely just yet, until you have decided what you are going to do.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

If you say you have lost the card then it will just be cancelled and they cannot get any money from your account. Nobody will be in trouble.

No it means the transaction will be refused - only tell them the card is missing !however you do have to report missing card as soon as you know about it - or you can be held liable for some /all of the amount

The bank will think its a "Fradulent Tranasction" and refuse it.

I expect that the company you have spoken to Roma are a packaging company rather than an IP firm themselves. Good to see that you are in discussions with a number of firms and you will then be able to decide which one is likely to represent your interests in the best fashion.
