Hi Roma and welcome to the forum.

Both McCambridge Duffy and Vincent Bond have good reputations, as does Melanie herself. I think you should be ok with any of the 3 mentioned above, however this a very personal decision, as you have to work with the company you choose for 5 or possibly 6 years, so do make sure you are comfortable with the company you choose.

If you can't find anything about 123 Debt, I would leave them alone.

Roma, if you use a company such as 123 debt then you will have to pay upfront for them to introduce you to an IP.

McCambridge Duffy are a good firm and you could try some of the experts who post on here. Click on the 'Ask a Question' link on the lefthand side of the page and you will see a list of them. Give one or two a ring.

As a practicing IP, it is not really right for me to comment upon the quality of other firms - and I would not have detailed knowledge to do so in any case. I suggest that you give them all a ring and then make up your mind which one seems to be able to offer the solutions you are looking for.

Hi Roma. If I was starting out again I would include McCambridge Duffy, Vincent Bond and definitely Melanie Giles in my call list. It's best you speak to a few and see who you feel happiest with.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Well thats just typical isn't it more help for people who were not born here, that is why we are in this state. Sorry again but charity begins at home with 2 children you would not have had if you thought everything would have worked out, and having to live hand to mouth for over 10 years in a country that 20 years later award either me or my husband 64.50 per week without a job, but when both of us were made redundant we are only allowed £83, so why is that because we own our own house and have never claimed and always worked me personelly for over 40 years. It just for me makes a mockery of the whole system. i am sorry again but it is everything that is wrong with this country. The worst part is I have to keep on working to keep all the people who really do not belong here. Let me out. i have never been able to claim 1p dole or unemployment and neither has my husband, so what on earth is this all about.. I understand that you mentors need to keep spirits up but lets be fair like I said I am really sorry for my extreme views I am sure the whole of middle Britain agrees with me, but, they might not be on here.

I'm sorry Vinnie but anyone who lives in this country and has financial problems is allowed to apply for an IVA, BR, DMP, DRO, whichever solution is best for them.

I don't think Roma is claiming benefits but that is beside the point. The forum is here to support anyone one who is looking at any debt solution, regardless of where they come from - we do not discriminate.

Oh Vinnie - I really don't think we should post things like this on the forum. Everyone who posts on here should be treated with respect (until they break the forum etiquette rules - lol).

I agree that a lot of people probably share your views. However in my view this is a forum for help with debt problems not about where they come from and how good their english is.

Yes sorry, but I get really annoyed when we fall on hard times and get absolutly nothing, after 40 odd years each of paying in and very nearly failing our iva due to redundancy it would have been so different without the help of my Son. I know these people need help and we all appreciate what you do as I appreciated the help for the past 6 months. Thank you
