I hope you manage to get your health problems sorted out soon. There will be a solution to your debt problems, it's just a case of finding it. Good luck x
David. Thanks for those comments.
I have had a conversation with my Accountant and he has agreed that based upon the monies that I have previously re-invested into the business and the minimal value of the business assets I should be okay. More so on the basis that I would still assist in any further action that would be required to re-coup the large amounts that I am due.
With regards to the goodwill element. All of my works are based on a consultancy basis and as such my clients will basically be receiving the same if not a better service due to the increased concentration now my mind is not on other more daunting matters. Good advise thou and it is appreciated.
Would you mind please reviewing this thread. I intend to try and contact you during tomorrow/Tuesday to discuss further but would like your opinion. Especially in reference to the typical actions of my creditors, more so at this time when the country seems to be in such a state.
Many Thanks
I will be happy to talk things through with you if you want to give me a call. Your case has some complexities, but nothing which appears at first hand that cannot be dealt with.
Melanie...I contacted your office earlier today and as discussed with a very helpful lady I shall forward and email complete with Spreadsheets indicating Income and Expenditure as well as full details of the debts.
On another matter I have today had a letter from Amberloan (Skitby BS) advising that they have had my letter confirming payment problems and enclosing a token payment. They have confirmed that they fully except the reduced payments, are freezing Int. and returned copies of the signed Agreements. Another call came from a collection agency for MBNA. Once I advised that we had just given the same information to another member of staff from there agency and we had also sent a letter and a token payment the lady advised that MBNA were snowed under with debtors in the same position and that it could take along time before records were brought upto date. In light of this is now the best time to be making F & F Offers as the banks/CC Companies will be looking to get as much money in ASAP. Also are they now in a position to reclaim on the debt as a presume the majority will have insurance cover. Do these companies not realise that taking a F&F earlier will simply cut out a later reduced settlement when they sell the debt onto a Debt Collection Company at 10-15p/£.
Most banks are very amenable to full and final offers of settlement at the moment, providing it is demonstrated that you are putting the very best and affordable offer on the table. I shall look forward to speaking to you directly with regard to your case in due course.
