Our creditors meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 10:00am, I am absolutely terrified that it will be rejected to the point I have no nails left as have chewed them all off. We feel we have made the best offer that we possibly can and just hope that our creditor's agree. We have been on DMP for the last 12 months but decided to apply for an IVA after I had to give up my second job due to the bad effect working too many hours was having on my health, as a result we had to reduce our payments in the DMP by £300, we are keeping everything you can imagine crossed for this Thursday!!! :-)

Hi

Thanks for that - we only discovered this forum a few days ago and I really wish we had known about it sooner - have found it to be such a great support just when we really needed it.

Can I ask? - On my list of creditors which my IP has drawn up one is HFC, I have read that HFC is actually HSBC however on the CCJ that they have against me the Claimant is actually HFC and this is how they are detailed on the creditor's details page, can anyone tell me is it HFC or HSBC and which one will it that will be voting as if it is HSBC I think I am screwed as I can only offer 30p in the pound!

Thanx

Good luck for Thursday Snowy. Have faith in your IP - they wouldn't have put your proposal forward if they didn't think there was a very good chance that it would be accepted.

Hi snowy

I had both HFC (for a Joh Lewis credit card) and HSBC for my overdraft and credit card.
HFC, HSBC credit card, HSBC overdraft all voted seperately and all voted FOR my proposal
HFC - John Lewis was £4,603.58
HSBC overdraft was £1,357.94
HSBC credit card was £2,562.31

Trust your IP's judgement and good luck for Thurday, please let us all know how you get on
