Hi all,

I seriously think our IVA might fail. I'm going to review all our figures over the weekend but I'm not prepared to stress out any more. So, if we were to explore BR, we don't know if this is a viable option for us, but if we do, does our IP have to agree to a face to face meeting?

We're with Accuma and have never actually met anyone personally from them or Thomas Charles who initally dealt with our enquiry. I have emailed our IP and always had a prompt response, but to be honest I would prefer to meet someone where I can get all the answers to my questions. Just thinking at the moment, but I want as much advice as possible, thanks.

Thanks Andy,

I've reviewed the figures and tried to increase contingency because its the unexpected that has thrown us off track. We're still working on a minus figure each month so we'll have to try and sort something.

Has anyone evr met with an IP from Accuma? I've always got the impression they rather discuss on the phone.

I don't think that they do face to face meetings with their clients, but I am sure that if you asked they would try and accomodate your - and as they will not want your IVA to fail they ought to try and work with you to find an affordable level of payments which can be represented to your creditors.

Thanks MTL, adding the signatures was my way of trying to get positive [:D]

I'll find a solution, just feel zapped with it all at the moment.

I hope so too Julie, you must be feeling awful. I know with an IVA you dont have to worry about debts but it shouldnt turn into a desperate worry about money every month. I hope your IP can see this and help you.

Good luck.
