I have just had my last review and even though my outgoings have increased with regards to fuel costs(living in a rural area) and oil costs etc they are insisting I stick to the payments agreed under my variation order last year.
My company is payplan - I am struggling to make the payments of £265 per month and they are to issue a certificate of non complainant if the next payments at 265 are not made.
I had the standard review recently which I had to complete an income / expenditure sheet which showed my incresed bills but all they said was that my payments would remain at the same level.
I feel very stressed and anxious at this time as i have a family and feel that if I have to go bankrupt what would they think of me....
I have no assets and work as police staff so of course I am under pressure.
I will make efforts to try and afford the unaffordable over the next 6 months and then review it.
I also received a call from gateway credit this morning stating that they had received notice from payplan that i was struggling with my budgeting and payments which even though I am not in arrears with my HP and they know I am in a IVA they stated that they may apply to the court now for reprossion even though I only have 6 payments to go..
Is this standard for an IP to inform creditors before i have had the chance to make these payments.
Sorry the posting is so long but I have only just recovered from a 4 year spell of depression/anxiety and dont want to slip back
Money the root of all evil...........

thank you

You should ask your IP to justify why they feel that you can afford to carry on making payments at this level. Perhaps they feel that some of your expenditure is unecessary?
