Yep Kallis I've got a lot of faith in Melanie and the team.
I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it left!

Oh Pennyless you're not far away now, the 30th will be hopefully a good day for you and be assured by myself you're with the best as I am!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Ladyh I suppose its not even worth trying to explain the elation and relief we shall feel if we are successful, as you and many others know exactly how it feels in the run up to the creditors meeting and the big "yes" vote hopefully at the end.

Hi Pennyless! That's great, glad you've got your date. I'm not quite there yet - our IP is calling me on Monday 19 Oct for our phone interview - how long did you wait for your creditors meeting after your phone chat? xx

Hi Rainbow...had my first interview to go through the proposal with Tom as arranged on 8 Oct for about 1.5 hours, at the conclusion of which he arranged for me to speak to Melanie at the earliest opportunity.

Due to my work commitments I eventually spoke to Melanie on the 11 Oct (yep a Sunday due to there being no Rugby on the TV luckily lol), after which I received my proposal within two days. I then completed it and sent it by Guaranteed Next day delivery and subsequently today got my creditors meeting date.

I've made detailed posts previously regarding each step and the date so wont bother reitterating how nice both Tom and Melanie were during the interviews and what was discussed....but rest assured once the interviews are complete and you have received, checked and are happy with the proposal, the meeting is arranged within hours of receipt by Melanies team (Angela in my case).

Rainbow theres a postal strike next week so I'll keep my fingers crossed that you manage to receive and return your proposal without any hitches.

Yep Rainbow I would be very surprised (post permitting) if you dont get your "proposal" by friday....but once you've read it and returned it, the creditors date, which we all look forward to obtaining, just seems to quickly come out of no where and drop on you like a lead balloon!

Hoping you, me and Cath are finally in our IVA's by end of November!

Me too (sad face), still awaiting 1 document from a local company, not a big credit company, but still no joy!

I would assume once that is received I will have the phone call with Tom and then I will need to go to Cardiff for a meeting with Melanie due to my self-employed element, I'm looking forward to meeting Melanie in person. Bridge fees and petrol money already banked lol!

Cross all your fingers and toes that these people get their finger out. Angela is on the case and I keep ringing them too. If they don't play ball, it's only for a blooming vacuum cleaner that I got sucked into the sales pitch (excuse the pun!), it's holding the process up big time!

Cath I've spoken to Melanie and she's great. Didn't have to meet her but if my IVA is successful I will ensure that at sometime during my IVA i meet the full team....feels like I've known them for years already and believe it or not they know more about my wife and I and son and daughter then anyone else, including our family.

Penny, it's funny how you draw conclusions about people on forums, I thought from reading your posts that you would be in your 50's and I'm sure I read somewhere you are 45, just 5 years older than me. You obviously started you family at a young age which is where I think I must have got that from as my eldest is 12. xxx
