I can understand that. Do you know why it is going to take that long? Have you had your face to face meeting yet?

No, I haven't had the f2f, I assume that will come after the proposal is drafted but as I'm not due to be contacted until the week after next, it will be after that. I didn't aks why so long cos I was welling up! I assume it must be volume of work.

Danieln, I had to wait a long time for my last piece of documentation so all my paperwork was all in last Thursday.

I originally started the process mid-August but I changed IP firm and started again on 16th September.

It possibly is volume of work and because you had to wait so long for that documentation.

Self employed do take a little longer I think. Rest assured though that Mel and her team will be doing their best to get it sorted as soon as possible.

Cath worry not. As you seen from my experience, once all the paperwork is completed then an appointment is made with Tom or another to do your proposal. Mine too was processed not the exact following week but the week after that...I think its just the process that the Company have. But from there it only took a week between that and the creditors meeting being arranged.

You'll get there Cath. I also felt a little deflated after getting all my paperwork together and having to wait a week or so later for my interview for the proposal, but I suppose I'm just impatient and like others want everything done yesterday lol.

I'm sure the voice of reason (Melanie) will be on later to reassure you Cath...keep your chin-up.

My post from 30 Sep 09...notice the similarity with your post today Cath:

Onwards and upwards then. Thankfully I contacted Angela today and have been given a meeting with Thomas at the "proposal team" on Thu 8 Oct 09.

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes after making first contact with a "proposer" until the proposal is complete?

At the moment everyday seems like a lifetime and the two weeks from getting my documentation completed to actually speaking to a "proposer" is not making life much easier.....but I suppose these things cannot be rushed.
