Congratulations Pennyless - I'm so happy for you, now you can actually relax and think of the future.

Don't worry about the out-laws - what you have with your wife is priceless and it's just something some people can't understand.

Once again my sincere congrats - well done. XX

Hi Pennyless

I agree - divorce is not the answer and as you say - over money! I'm glad everything is sorted for you. My in-laws don't know and we'll probably never tell them, my mother in law worries about everything anyway, so I wouldn't want to add to that!

Onwards and upwards, not down and out!!!

Dave's mum doesn't know about my money problems - she would probably disown both of us!

My MIL is sadly playing with the fairies at the bottom of the garden at this moment in her life so she wouldn't understand.

My Mum just wouldn't know what an IVA was and if I told her she'd probably think it was something good and tell everyone, even if I told her not to!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I wished that I could tell my parents, but even though they don't know what an IVA is, as soon as I told them it was because we couldn't continue to pay our credit cards and loans my mother would lose it big time!

I'm not going to risk that happening.
