Little update from me. Have gone through the figures today and we are looking at 19p which is a little scary our monthly contribution to the IVA is quite low too.

Will discuss further with Melanie at our meeting next Monaday!

Fingers crossed. x

Cath - Mel has got them through for a lot less than that.

I have been looking at old threads and have seen some low dividends but it's only today when I got all the figures through that I thought OMG, that's not a lot and neither is what is left of DI to put into the IVA if we are being realistic about expenses, which we have to be for success over the next 5/6 years.

Still, I am remaining positive.

Melanie would not be looking at this proposal if she didn't think she could get it through.

I know Jan but it has changed a bit since she first looked at it, DI has gone up a bit but so have realistic expenses! She may look at it now in horror!

I am remaining positive and hopeful but this part is such a struggle, what with the letters and phonecalls, just want it to be done and dusted as we all do.

I was looking at the figures that the first firm gave me and they were expecting us to pay in the region of £300 more than our current proposal, it would have lasted 2 months tops! So glad I stumbled upon this site and the great advice given.

Nothing wrong with 19p in the £ - it is 19p more than they would get under bankruptcy proceedings. Cath - I will respond to your e-mail tomorrow - lots of IT problems at present which is slowing things down for us but will be fixed shortly.

No worries Melanie, I'm sure you will see my current I/E and quite small IVA contribution in the coming days. Look forward to seeing you on Monday. x
