Mine took a long time cath for several reasons (none of which were IP's fault), reasons outside both our controls and necessary for acceptance of IVA but in the end I got there and now enjoying life in the IVA. Won't be long till you look behind you and think phew!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I totally agree!!

will the creditors meeting be a fixed number of days or is it up to this number if this makes sense?

Your creditors meeting will be set up for a specific day at a specifice time, but your creditors can, and in some cases definitely will, vote before that time if they wish. You will be notified of acceptance/rejection or adjourment after the meeting has closed.

Not quite sure what you mean Daniel, but the creditors meeting is on a specific date, your creditors can vote at any time up to that date but once the meeting has passed, if you are accepted then all creditors are bound by the decision.

Thanks for your replies sorry it didnt really make sense! :)

What I mean is once Mel has our paperwork back and they call the meeting does it have to be a specifed number of days to give them notice, so if called on 1st December would it be 17th (based on 17 days notice?)

Just wondered how long I might wait until the meeting date?
