Thanks for the reply, hopefully Tina can help me aswell....MBNA are also one of my creditors and judging by some of the posts they can be quite aggressive, I'm dreading their calls....Good luck with your proposal, I hope you can sort things out before Xmas so you can enjoy it,..
Best of luck to you.

Don't let them bully you into paying anything! Just remember that they are on commission and want to get money out you. Don't give them that satisfaction.

Hello everyone - just been reading a couple of threads and good to see you on here again Billy [:)]- had begun to wonder what had happened to you hon as dont seem to have managed to cross posts with one another! I have had an awful day - got this dreaded stomach bug and spent most of last night throwing up. Then to top it off today I got a default notice from Black Horse whom we have 2 agreements with. We are only in arrears by one payment but the letter threatens with court if we dont pay by 15 december. This of course has thrown me into a panic - but have emailed Angela from MG and hopefully will get some reassurance as to what I should do. Also got a letter from NatWest (our "old" bank) to say we had gone over our overdraft limit - well of course we have because they refused a payment that I thought had been cancelled and have made 2 charges of £38 for the pleasure! Aaaggghh!!! Not having a great day! I am hoping that Angela and Melanie have what they need from us now so that we can get the ball rolling to the next stage - and am dying to meet Melanie as we have to have a face to face as OH is self employed. Like you all - am trying not to stress about it all and am enjoying living in bank accounts that are in credit but just have a scary feeling in the pit of my stomach all the time...and watching the gloom and doom on the news is not helping!!! Anyway needless to say I have popped back on here seeking support from my lovely forum friends...thinking of you all!! Fi xxxxx
Still gathering info....but hope to be on the right path pronto!!

Hi Fi fi

So sorry you have had the terrible tummy bug on top of everything else going on. Dont worry though, it will all be OK and youre doing all that you can for now.

Its always the same thing, these letters worded just to make sure you have a bad day. They give you a terrible feeling of failure but its not personal, dont let them get to you. These computers are programmed to spot a missed or short payment and spit out these words without a thought that the recievers are all too aware and scared out of their skins.

Take care, now, look after yourself and get well, a new life is waiting for you on the other side of crappy debt street.

Good luck.
LILY

I saw some paperwork from you today in the post, so Angela will be able to tell you shortly whether we need anything else to progress to the next stage. Hope to meet you soon too!
