Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt
The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

There's an old zen saying 'Only an empty bowl can be filled'. It means that the moment you think you have nothing left is the moment when growth and progress become inevitable. Everytime you see an empty bowl, think of the potential.
Good Luck Graham, I was in a similar position, I had Amex and NR vote no. As NR had over 25% of my debt we could not go back to other creditors. However, after their iniital no, we entered into negotiations with NR and after 4 further adjournments we reached a agreement. Anna was involved in my case and we got there in the end.
So in summary, even if you cannot get others to vote, there still will be a good chance you can negotiate something acceptable with NR. Good luck and fingers crossed.
i didn't find out about the 2 week bit till today. so am a bit more positive than at the weekend when i thought it all had to be done on the day of the meeting.
