Once again thanks for the help and support over the weekend.We are just about to tuck into an Indian meal and then head off to bed.I hope tomorrow is positive because these two days have been hell.I will post tomorrow when I have news.thanks people it's nice to have people around that have been or are going through the same thing.

Good Luck Graham, I was in a similar position, I had Amex and NR vote no. As NR had over 25% of my debt we could not go back to other creditors. However, after their iniital no, we entered into negotiations with NR and after 4 further adjournments we reached a agreement. Anna was involved in my case and we got there in the end.

So in summary, even if you cannot get others to vote, there still will be a good chance you can negotiate something acceptable with NR. Good luck and fingers crossed.

i didn't find out about the 2 week bit till today. so am a bit more positive than at the weekend when i thought it all had to be done on the day of the meeting.
im getting phone calls from barclaycard 3 times a day now....seriously don't they update there records...
and northern rock wrote to me to tell me they have added a charge for voting on the iva (they said no)....unbelievable

They definately don't talk to each other!!

I had the same letter from NR (£63 or something) like that and they did eventually agree. After requesting more money and a 6 year IVA.

Barclaycard also voted yes. Try to stay positive you have a large set of creditors to go after.
