Congrats DG, I am so pleased for you. Did you really say that you will be paying £391 for £128k of debt??

Can anyone tell me which lenders are less likley to vote yes? Is it just N'Rock? or are there any other akward creditors?

Thanks
Is an IVA right for me...?

melstel i think it works out at 111000 for me at £281 plus equity to make 32p in the pound and my wife will be paying £110 plus equity to pay 100p in the pound.nr voted no and amex voted no and mbna didnt vote and that was good because they held 25% of the vote which is why anna kept on at tix to get the abbey card through.it took six days but she had our best interest at heart as if she had gone back to nr they would have wanted 6 years and more share.I cant thank her enough.
full breakdown is
nr no
amex no
mbna no vote
cahoot no vote
abbey no vote
abbey zero yes
barclaycard yes
citi yes
capital one yes
sainsburys yes
sainsburys loan yes
egg yes
egg loan yes

I'm so pleased for you Graham - you can have a wonderful weekend now and relax. I knew Cleardebt wouldn't let you down!

To change your name you will need to contact Admin and ask them to do it for you.

Melstel - There is no saying who will vote yes or no - each creditor is different with their criteria. For example, we have had posters on here with a large debt with Lloyds who got a yes vote. I had a credit card with just over £2 on it and they voted no for me.

hi melstel if you have equity in your house value eg 10,000 normally there will be a clause in your iva to release part or all of it in the 4th year by means of remorgage to pay that amount into your iva as a lump some.the amount will be agreed at the start of your iva so you no where you stand.the total payments plus equity after fees will give the dividend to creditors pence in the pound eg 30 pence in the pound.obviously tenants would not have this clause.but would have a windfall clause normally over £500.

However, if you are unable to get a remortgage (you usually have to try a couple of reputable companies) the norm now is that your IVA will continue for a further twelve months.
