So why wasn't a higher offer made in the first place? I feel that you have been badly advised, as no creditors these days are going to accept £600 for food for 3 people! Does your IP do a lot of IVA work, as I am amazed that this would have been presented for you. And importantly, what do you actaully spend on food?
If you feel that you could afford to pay more, then say so. Let the IP be embarrassed to explain to your creditors that he got the figures wrong in the first place, and perhaps this will save other unfortunate people from being put through this in the future.
You don't need CCCS or Payplan at this moment in time. Get your IP to adjourn the proceedings today, and get a second opinion as to the proposals presented. I am sure that there is still an IVA in this somewhere, if that is the way you still want to go.
