my IVA has been satisfied for a year, am looking for a mortgage - anyone know of anywhere I can get one? Also, once the IVA has dropped off your credit file (6 years from start?), do you need to declare it as presumably it's not visible on a search?

You can start looking round, but unless you have a hefty deposit you might find it difficult to get one anyway.

Have you checked your record to find out whether or not all defaults after the date of acceptance have dropped off your record? If not you need to write any creditors to tell them to remove them.

Hi
Use a broker to search the whole market
Normally you will be asked have you ever been bankrupt, rather than specifically a question regarding an IVA.
