Hi, I wonder if you can help with following: I have started IVA in Oct 2013 and paid off everything in Feb 2015 and having a certificate of closure etc. The IVA record will stay with credit agency until 2019 and my credit report is not good at all.
I am trying to purchase a new car as my work depend on it and my current car can't serve me any longer. As expected I have been rejected from couple of finance companies so don't want to try again. Do you have any advise for me how to go about this? Thanks

Hi There,

Moneybarn are good for people who are or have been in an IVA.

You will need a deposit, but they have a calculator on their website so you can olay around with cars and figured etc.
Started IVA 27th Feb 2012 - Due to complete 27th Jan 2018 !!

Full & Final submitted and accepted 30th March 2015, paid 10th April 2015 - 3 yrs 1 month into IVA :)

Completion Certificate received- 30th April 2015!!

There are a few that will help with finance for those of us without a great credit rating. Unfortunately, the interest rate may be higher but hope you manage to get your new vehicle.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Try Wheels for sure they can arrange a lease for a brand new car
IVA agreed 14/02/2011
IVA settled 06/06/2013

I would suggest speaking to a couple of leasing companies and asking what their stance is on people who have been in an IVA without you having another search on your credit record.
