Been reading this site ever since my business had to close and have found the topics very helpful

Today I thought I would register and say a public thank you to Michael Peoples and the team at McCambridge Duffy for sorting out my business debts of nearly £ 200k and getting an IVA approved for 6p in the £.

Relief is not the word, too much of an under statement.

When I first contacted Michael I could not believe that I had an alternative to bankruptcy. I am astounded that McCambridge Duffy pulled it off.

The big irony is that I am no worse off now than any time during the last 24 months because I was paying myself only what I needed to fund essentials. Hopefully this experience will stand me in good stead?

It should do. You just have to learn to live within a budget - start using own brands or value stuff.

Your creditors won't be contacting you anymore and if they do then you can tell them to get lost now!

Plastic daft, two reasons really.

Firstly I did want to return something to my creditors as many gave me a lot of support when my business started to decline. The main factor though was to protect my property.
