Hi, do you have your completion certificate?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Once you receive that all important completion certificate, is when you're officially debt free.

Sometimes, it's he who shouts loudest to get their certificate and all companies vary and some considerably in their time span of issuing of completion certificates.

Hopefully you'll receive it soon and be able to move forward.

You probably know but your credit rating will be poor until 6 years past the IVA acceptance date.

You should hopefully get it soon but, as Lesley says, your credit rating will be shot. Once you get that though, your name will disappear from the Insolvency Register within three months and the IVA will no longer show on your credit records.

Make sure you check to make sure that no companies defaulted you after the date of the start of the IVA. Check all three agencies, Equifax, Experian and Call Credit.
