I dont want to upset them at the moment. The sooner we are rid of them the better. We didn't get as far as 'pre-exsisting cond'! I was furious that they asked for my bank statements. If my IP wanted them there would not have been a problem, but a b***** insurance company, no way. I asked them why & they said thay wanted to make sure I didn't have any money coming in from anywhere else!
I am a bit concerned about the monopoly they seem to have. We used to have their bank accounts, £25 to set up & it was awful, we never knew where we were!

It is outragous that the insurance policy has not paid out due to yoru husband's illness - and you should definately pursue this before you agree to sell your home. John Tegg is an insurance guru who regularly looks into the forum, and if he picks up on this post he may be able to offer you some assistance off-line.

Hi Melanie, Thanks for that, hopefully John Tegg might pick it up. I refused to give the ins co. our bank statements so the claim never got any further.
We have sent all our figures in now, so it will just be a waiting game. Will let you know the outcome
