Cannot add to Melanie's post except to say an IP who is contacatable is paramount, you may never need to speak to them but I have mine at the end of an email if necessary and above and beyond her call of duty I am sure I have her home number too which I can contact her on. I would never invade her private time by ringing but it's there just in case that one dark night I need to talk.

Choose with care and the IVA path will be a smooth one.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I have the same IP as you Lesley - always there if wanted. That is one of the many reasons I always suggest Melanie. She is a remarkable lady who happens to care for her clients.

I am with Payplan, and have to say that I have my own case officer who I can either email or phone if I need to, and who phones me every few months to see that everything is going ok.

Have to say that I would probably have chosen Melanie though if I had found this forum first!

Not sure, I had just one vote no, but I don't remember being given a reason as to why that had happened.

I think it may be final, but need one of the IP's to confirm that.

There are many reasons why a creditor might vote to reject an IVA, but thankfully over 80% of those put forward are actually accepted, and some firms work to a much higher acceptance rate.
