Congrats harrysmummy and Julie. Very pleased for you both. Ours is still being questioned by one of our creditors I'm afraid, so can't join you in your celebrations yet unfortunately.
Hi debt tired... sorry to hear that I was hoping you would be accepted, hopefully you still will be. What's the hold up with the one creditor?

We are doing a F&F IVA using funds kindly given by my Mum but they are concerned that when our children leave university in 2 years' time our income could go up and they would be losing out on that as we currently pay for the children's food when they are at home (about half the year). Maybe, but my husband could have lost his job again or got ill again, or the children may still be livibg with us if they cannot get jobs. Or interest rates could go up, or the rise in petrol, heating and food could balance out any gain in disposible income.

They are also concerned that I might get a job (have not had one interview since my business folded last June tho, and as I'm in my 50's and have been self employed since 1995 it is not easy) but once again they think they might lose out.

Personally I would have thought that a bird in the hand and all that... Mel will be intervening for Spanna and myself tomorrow so we're just keeping fingers crossed tightly for now.

How are you getting on? Have you got a date for your meeting yet?

Yes, she is back in the office tomorroe so Spanna and I have both been told she will be intervening personally. Maybe we'll both have better news then.

By the way, best of luck with your meeting!
