I entered an IVA back in 2008 with Debt Solutions and have had all my reviews done with the same person. Everything has been going perfectly fine and I was just informed to carry on making the monthly payments as planned.

Then I went to contact them recently and I have the impression my account handler was sacked and someone new put in charge. They then informed me that they have not had any correspondance from me since 2008!!!!!!! how can this be! I have always made regular contact with them and now I feel sick at the thought they are saying they have not received anything. And why didn't they contact me?? What can do???

hi Lisa and welcome to the forum

Clearly this must be an error on their part. I suggest that you arrange to speak directly with the insolvency practitioner handling your case, who presumably has not changed since your case was accepted and ask them to confirm why you have received the feedback you have received, and who is now dealing with day to day matters.

I doubt there is too much to be worrying about to be frank.

I asked to speak to the manager and he seemed to be quite rude an I was giving dates an who I spoke to when I sent info in!! An he said I'm not saying you r lying but now I have had to send all up to date info in an wages slips from 2012 for some reason . This was Friday an I sent info in yesterday an I am ringing them everyday , so waiting for a reply .
I'm really worried that it is goin to fault on my iva an I am so far into it .

Do you have all paperwork they've sent you and any emails you've sent them etc., since the date they state they've received no communication from you.

I would insist on speaking with the IP and clearing this up.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I have dates I sent stuff an what I have sent an emails but the girl no longer works there i have sent it all in an i am waiting for reply , I will ring them everyday until this is resolved.
I feel like I'm the bad one in this they are takin no responsilbilty as it is them at fault !
This all started as I was asking for a payment break to pay for new boiler ! An now I have ended up double stressed!
They saying they cannot look at payment break until this matter resolved , I have never made a late payment or asked for a break in the 3 yrs .

That is so unfair on you and I sincerely hope this is sorted as soon as possible. Error can occur but when it affects an individual as in making you stressed it need resolving sooner rather than later.

No only from original set up in 2010 all other stuff done via post like wen I have posted review stuff !
I have again rang an the guy has admitted they have had mail problems an problems with previous staff ! So I did say well this a problem on ur behalf ,an I feel I am getting the bad end of it .
He seems to think once they have done update review , all going well that the breech will be took off my account ?
I'm so worried now thou as need to pay for this boiler , I have a 4 yr old an i am so upset over all this .

I strongly recommend that you ask to speak to the IP directly, to explain your position and to highlight the areas of deficiency in their systems that you perceive.
