Hi all,

I've managed to get a new job!!! I start on Monday in a lettings agency which is good at the moment as people cant afford to buy they are renting instead. (might be able to help with qustions on here in a few months when i find my feet)

Also just spoke to Accuma about my IVA as the new job is £5k a year less than my old salary (which is about the same amount as my IVA was over the year) so no chance of paying that anymore so assigned myself to the fact that bankruptcy is my next option which i'm ok about now.

Accuma didnt really seem to bother about it to be honest and said they are sending me info about bankruptcy and then i will need to start the ball rolling with the court - I thought they would do this when i missed my 3rd payment but can all be done before as there is no way i can carry on ith IVA! (all good in a way cos i can get sorted quicker really)

Thanks to everyone who has posted with answers to my previous questions and support after my redundancy - thanks all!

Will let you know what happens and hopefully see you at frugal friends in Birmingham in Novemeber!

Gavin

Hi Gavin
Really good news about the job.
Get the bankruptcy behind you and the only way is up.
At least you have tried 100% to deal with your debts.
Regards

That's great news Gav - and don't worry about the bankruptcy, you have tried your best and finding stable employment in the current job market is worth more than anything. The bankruptcy will be behind you in a year's time, but hopefully the job will still be there.

Hi Gav

Great news, really chuffed for you[:D][:D]

If anything ever happens with my job I would be forced in bankruptcy if I couldn't get another job straight away but I know I will have tried my hardest to make the iva work, and I know you have also. No one can plan for every eventuality.

Look forward to seeing you in Birmingham
Best wishes

Congrats Gav, hope it all works out for you. We're with Accuma too and seriously considering BR at the moment. Can't see how we can sustain the IVA for the next 3 and half years.

Lone Ranger, hope your luck changes on the job front too xx
