Hi there,
Did you know you were financially in trouble before you got the credit card ?
If it is unused, they may request that you close the card down, althogh some companies allow you credit to up to £500 - but this is based on your own IVA proposal wording etc.
Started IVA 27th Feb 2012 - Due to complete 27th Jan 2018 !!
Full & Final submitted and accepted 30th March 2015, paid 10th April 2015 - 3 yrs 1 month into IVA
Completion Certificate received- 30th April 2015!!

It shouldn't do but if you we're to run up a high bill just prior to entering the IVA this could be frowned upon. I had increased my limits on a couple of credit cards just prior to be entering IVA but that was more to do with survival as I was paying one to pay another etc.
Just make sure you mention it when applying for your IVA.
