Hi All
I posted a message on here a while ago about having a job interview with the Police & disclosing an IVA.
Well I went for the interview this morning & have just received a phone call offering me the job!
I'm so excited but am now extremely worried about what they will do when they find out I'm in an IVA. I told them this when they phoned me & he said he'd get back to me as the checks are carried out very quickly.
I'm now on the edge of my seat with worry!

That's fantastic news - but if you have told them about the IVA then you have nothing to worry about.

Thanks Melanie. I did disclose it on a vetting form I had to complete. I also attached a narrative explaining how the situation arose etc.
I had some advice on here before which made me think they would not allow me to be employed by them because of the IVA. All I can do now is wait, I have been honest so its out of my hands now.
Thanks again

If you have already disclosed this and was still offered an interview and now offered a job, I really can't see that that the IVA will affect their offer as you have obviously impressed them already. I would like to congratulate you and wish all the best in your career.
Best Regards
Oliver

They offered me the job only on a conditional basis but won't send out anything in writing until the checks have been completed which includes the financial check.
