Its the same sort of thing as I work for a school they did a enhanced crb when I started 5 years ago but nothing since now I know I have done nothing but they dont and some people have been working there for 18-20 years and all with one crb thats where it needs to be tightened up not on honest hard working people trying their best to sort their finances out
Iva completed

dont worry enhanced CRB doesn't look at credit or IVA - I've had mine done 4 times whilst in an IVA -nothing.
It is an issue in the finacial sector and for some consultancy agencies - but they tend to just check the insolvency register for bancruptcy as it makes paying consultant Ltd company dificult.
Sadly it does show up sometimes but never in CRBs - it's there you can't hide it but it doesn't necessarily stop a job offer - jusr depends on the post.

BTW - enhanced CRB should be done every two years and at job change. I take it there have been no school inspections by OFSTED ooops

Hopefully, you'll get a positive answer soon Carle -fingers crossed.

If a role calls for an enhanced CRB, finances are not checked. However, any company can have a clause in contracts requiring disclosure of agreements with creditors.

allancsn - recommendation is every 3 years for a CRB check whilst in same employment, however employers can and will have a lesser timescale.

Yippee! I just received an email confirming my start date!! Overjoyed. A new role which is more secure and better paid. It also means of course that our Creditors will benefit. Thanks to all for your words of wisdom and support throughout this worrying time :)
