Q. if someone is in a joint iva could the other person clear their debt and would the remaining person carry on with theirs without their partners income being factored into it.

I think that an interlocking IVA would allow this, are there any joint debts?

Please wait around I'm sure an expert will be along soon to clarify.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

You would need to sever the arrangements which can be done. This is not uncommon where partners break up or one receives a windfall which would clear their debts.
