If me and hubby are going into IVA together, is it proposed as a joint IVA or are we put in as individuals with one payment at the end?

Hi
It's two seperate IVAs that will be interlocking and paid with one monthly payment and your joint income used to determine this payment

In the unlikely event that this will happen, the IVA will be rejected but his may not stop the other party proceeding if they still want to - with their own IVA. The rejected party can then consider whether a DMP or bankruptcy proceedings are the best way forward.
