I have an unsecured loan with an ex partner. He has disappeared, and I have been paying my part of the loan (un beknown to me that by doing this I now owe more than the original debt). Me and my husband are now starting the procedure of IVA. Will this debt be ok as part of the IVA? It started as a £10,000 loan and I now owe over £11,000!! Any advise?
Ang.. 13 payments in.. WOW, thats over 20% paid!! http://angela18.blogs.iva.co.uk/ well here we go

It is correct for you to include this loan into your IVA, but your ex-partner will probably be pursued by the creditor directly thereafter.

We generally quote six to eight weeks, as we independently verify a lot of the information - but it can be done quicker depending upon the quality of the information and speed of delivery.
