Congratulations Debbie...told you it would be ok! [:D]

My agreed full and final is in tatters![V] it was all based on a remortgage, and due to the credit crunch all the remortgages have been withdrawn..so im high and dry and just settling down to another 3 years! [B)]

Hey ho...2 down 3 to go!

Sorry to hear that JPJ. Luck was REALLY on my side as I completed my re-mortgage a month before the bottom dropped out of sub-prime mortgages. One month later and it most certainly wouldn't have gone through.

You never know, things might pick up agian and you might be able to able a F&F in a shorter time.

All the best

Debbie

So sorry to hear your bad news jpj - have you explored all options as I had thought that the markets were starting to settle again. Did you not have an unconditional offer of mortgage before putting the variation forward?

Thanks Melanie.

Yes I did have a remortgage in place, but as it took my IP months to finalise my full and final,(part down to creditors taking so long to finalise figures) the mortgage market changed and the mortgage offer was withdrawn when i re approached them.
Valuers are very cautious at present too and seem to be down valueing property so ive suffered a double whammy..and with every valuation costing £300 I cant shop around to get the best one![:(]
