Any thoughts? Has anyone had one of these letters?

"IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL CLIENTS

We are aware of a number of organisations utilising publicly available information* to target individuals subject to an IVA with unsolicited mailshots.

These predominantly take the form of letters expressing concern over advice given and are drafted in such a way as to make the individual feel anxious and mistrusting of their current provider.

The ultimate aim is to encourage the individual to contact them rather than their current provider with their concerns, at which point they will attempt to offer an alternative solution for which they will request a fee. These companies do not use licensed insolvency practitioners. We would advise you to ignore the contents of these letters and if at all possible forward them to us. We will review the contents of such correspondence and make a report to the Office of Fair Trading where this is deemed appropriate.

Blair Endersby is part of the Paymex group of companies which offer multiple solutions to over 30,000 customers and have distributed over £600 million to creditors. Blair Endersby is committed to providing appropriate advice to its customers and ensures that all appropriate options have been considered and explored fully before suggesting a solution. If you have any queries in relation to either this matter or any other in relation to your arrangement please do not hesitate to contact us on 0870 084 2124 to discuss your concerns.

Blair Endersby"

That's great that they are sending those letters to their customers popcorn. It warns people who haven't heard of such companies. Good on them. Viki X

Yes, we had one of these too, and a letter asking us to pay them by direct debit instead of standing order, has anyone received one of these too?

It is a well written letter and expresses the views that most professionals have of companies who engage in this sort of business.
