I am a GT 'customer' I am neither frustrated, angry or let down by GT. My point is that the general running and solving of the day to day queries and questions are pretty much being resolved to satisfaction. The closure side of things are way below any type of standard that could be expected from a company on the scale of GT. Karol, I am sure has a lot of input and responsibility for these day to day type inquiries, I am also sure she is passing on the frustrations that are daily growing on the forum to this closure team but I think that is where her remit stops. Until I get to the closure stage of my IVA and have to endure and be let down by the closure team I have no fault with GT and neither do a great many other GT customers who are not waiting for their CC. My original posts were in response to IVA Victims slate of Karol and not anything you have contributed.

I have to agree with Merlin -- since being co-opted to GT I have had nothing short of excellent service and very helpful contacts.

Again, when my time comes, if closures have not got their house into order by then I will be up there like roman candle!

Nigh on all the current complaints, which are wholly justified, relate to closures.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Merlin.
My posts are not a slate of Karol simply a reference to fact. I have not had any response from Karol whatsoever!

PPI is not managed by the closure team. The issues are more systemic.

Again I reiterate my offer - I am happy to bring all individual complaints to Karol's personal attention if anyone would find this helpful. Message me off line.

IVA Victim, sorry if that was not your intention. But you must realise Karol is under no obligation to directly reply to any complaints, she no doubt has passed on your complaint to the relevant party and it must be them that has the responsibility to you.

Mel, thankyou for the kind offer. I am being a bit dim, how do I message you off line?

Not just you, I wanted to contact karol off line and wasn't sure how to do it, so I went into her profile but came across a statement that if you put "IVA Forum" into the subject box on an email to GT it will get priority attention (not exact words but that was the inference). I tried that yesterday evening, as I had called again yesterday and still hadn't received a reply. I requested a call back today, as I don't always get the chance to discuss personal topics during the working day (not in office today), I received a phone call from GT (Natalie) this morning as requested who was very helpful and all questions and concerns dealt with.
I would recommend this approach before going through third parties, recognising the kind offer from Mel.
one slight concern, Natalie advised me that according to their records they were up to date with all their call backs, even though I had advised in my email to GT that I had at least 2 call backs and one email awaiting response. Maybe this is part of the issue.
Credit where credit is due, a good response from GT and thank you to Natalie (lovely accent too!).

I've received the message - and will be forwarding to Karol tomorrow for you I am fed up.

Just for the record, Karol and the manager she reports to have no problem in forum posters sending me details of the issues they are having difficulty with, and are grateful for this as they are able to recognise them and deal with them directly. But please don't swamp me current GT clients - I also have my own clients to look after as well!!
