managed to find my P60 today which was a relief till i noticed my earnings yr to date yr, working for john lewis we get a bonus - now since my fathers death my bonus has always gone straight to my mothers account as part of her living costs, ive never even seen it myself for 3 yrs now - i have completely forgotten to declare last marches bonus as for obvious reasons, ive never really scene it as my earnings - obv the P60 will state i've earned a couple of grand more a yr than im saying im earning.

help>??? REALLY worrying about this as i dont want to look like iv been lying and hiding additional earning, that is not the case

Hey 2yrsin,

At the end of the day just be honest now you have realised it and tell your IVA provider.

Explain the situation at the end of the day it is an easy mistake to make as it is money which as far as you were concerned you never got your hands on.

At worst they will expect the full amount paid over and on the bright side you may get to keep some of it depending what your IVA agreement states for over time and bonuses. Mine states I get to keep half.

Just started my IVA as from 12.10.07
Just started my IVA as from 12.10.07

What ever deceision and choices we have ever made, are the ONLY and BEST decisions and choices we can make at THAT time with all the info we have to hand at THAT PRECISE moment in time - so no regrets!!

my review is in a couple of weeks i think, il speak to them then and explain it all - im hoping this can written of as a mistake and we can get it right from this yr - i know the money wont be there to pay off as my mother had to have a lot of essential work to house done, roofing etc.

Everyone is allowed to make one slip-up in the world of IVA supervision, and this can be rectified by making additional payments over future months or at the end of the IVA.

Be sure to watch this in March though, and ensure that 50% is paid over to the supervisor - in fact why not pay it all over in lieu of last year's as well.

Hiya, was just gonna say I accidently overlooked my bonus whilest in my IVA. It did come up but I advised them that I used it to pay the final gas and electric bills on my house, which I did as I no other money coming in at the time. They were really good about it and just accepted what I told them. Glad you are ok to.
