Good afternoon, I have just found this site whilst looking through the internet trying to find some advice on obtaining a landline whilst on an IVA. Apparently BT wont touch me! We are nearly 1 year into our IVA and I am wondering what paperwork our IP will want at the review. I am sure you guys are the best people to ask! Anyway, will not bore you, but hoping I can find some mates to talk to about this nightmare on here! Thanks for reading x [:)]

Thanks Helen for replying. Nice to know there are other people alive and kicking out there! The payslips will not be a problem (all in an envelope already as I thought our IP wanted them 6 monthly!), all other documents are fine. Between my hubby and me we have earnt about £1670 (since June last year) in overtime, Am i right in thinking the IP want half of this? I guess this is something they work out when they have all the paperwork. I am so pleased I have found this site, although it has stopped me working for at least an hour (mind you, that is an hours less overtime to claim!) Thanks a million x

Hi, and welcome to the forum from me - love the name!

Depends on who your IP is as to what you have to send.

With me it is payslips every three months, no bank statements and I have never had to provide proof of anything or send them utility bills.

Then again, my gas, electric and phone are done online so I have no paper statements.

Hiya guys ... your replies mean the world to me, does anyone have Recovery HJS / Bains and Ernst as their IP? Clairbare - good luck with your IVA application, it seems quite stressful putting everything together but the relief is amazing. Mrbluesky - thank you for your information, does everyone have to complete a I&E form?? Kallis3 (ha ha, re the name) stems from my darling 2 year old daughter being such a fun guy to play with! (poor, I know!) Think you lot are the best! and I am pleased to have "met" you xx

BT line ok for us as we paid deposit of £50 which was refunded six months later - be honest with them when you phone and they will work this out for you....good luck

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm with Sky for my phone and internet etc., I'm sorry BT declined you, has anyone else in an IVA sourced a supplier?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I have no problem with BT at all. Have broadband and broadband talk with them.

We currently have broadband, telephone and sky tv with sky... obviously. I was naive enough to think they did not provide actual landlines and were just a lcr service! Shows how much i know. I am hoping that they will now transfer the entire lot without causing any problems. Mind you, for some unknown reason they charged me £83.00 this month, about £50 more than it should be! The account is my husbands name so they wont speak to me, and he has not phoned them yet! He has promised he will do it monday! argh!

Don't you just love it when companies won't deal with you because account is in partners name! If huuby is anything like mine..you'll dial the number and he'll say " I give permission for my wife to deal with the account"!

£50 more is a huge hike! Can you view your statement online to see where the extra charges are?
