Hi, I would be reluctant to let the iva fail. Work with your IP to settle with your creditors, either payments to date or until you've repaid in full. Depending on fees you should have repaid creditors very soon. Good luck x

I hope you manage to get sorted. Hopefully BE will pick up on this and help you out.

I can imagine it's doubly tough for you now that there is an end in sight and all this uncertainty around whether to carry on or not...especially with Christmas coming up. But stay focussed until BE have found a satisfactory solution for you. Patience for a couple of months could reward you with being debt free whack will be amazing!

Hi Broke yes! it definatly is a struggle and christmas is always a nightmare every year :( I hope BE hurry up with a solution I could imagine that it would be very painful for them to refund thier fee's and for the IVA to end at last! I dont know weather to ring them and get them to push forwards with this as I feel like im on a edge of a cliff if that makes sense :) by the way like the pic of kittie in a hammock cute :)

I'd definitely be on the phone chasing this up or even emailing. They may allow a payment break or reduced payments while this is resolved. If you don't ask...and if you do you might be surprised.

Hi
Do press B/E to sort this out. You have paid more than the original debt and given the circumstances you should not lose out financially.
Speak directly with your IP and not a case worker.
Personally I would chase this until they conclude your IVA and if needs be I would lodge a complaint if B/E refuse to do this.
They do have a duty of care to ensure that debts relate to you solely or are joint.
Please keep this forum updated and if you need help in contacting B/E I will be happy to help you
Regards
Andam Davies

Thank you Andy I appreciate youre response I am also seeing a solicitor next tuesday reagarding this also as another push for them to get it sorted out I think they must know they are in the wrong. I will definatly keep this forum up to date with any developments hopefully it wont take long for a conclusion and for the IVA to conclude. Thank you for offering to help me contact B/E as I may possibly take you up on that. Thanks

I would much rather see you attemptin to sort this out with the IP firm directly. Most disputes are resolved in this manner, without the need for legal expenditure or formal complaints which can be lengthy.

Like Andy, I have some good contacts at senior level in Blair Endersby who I would be happy to send your details to, and who I am sure would be able to assist in resolving this matter.

Thanks Melanie I would be over the moon if you would pass my details over to the seniors as I never seem to get anywhere with the Lady who looks after my IVA with B/E I dont really want this to get drawn out and yes I appreciate what youre saying about Legal expenditure I think part of it is I just want to push these B/E into sorting it out very quickly. :) Thank you again.
