Hi helpless121- your credit file won't go back to "0" until all your defaults drop off, which will be a year from the date that your iva began.
You'll need to check your credit file to make sure that all defaults are within the iva timeframe & you have to make sure all your accounts are marked up as satisfied ( this is to prevent problems in the future with unwarranted phone calls from creditors trying to get money out of you).

But crucially you'll need your final report & completion certs to sort out your credit file.

I've been sorting out our files- & it's not been the hassle I was expecting. There's plenty of info on this forum that can help you with it!
IVA COMPLETED & CLEAN CREDIT FILE.

An old bible proverb says this: the rich one rules the poor, and the borrower is a slave to the lender.

How true are those words of wisdom.

Thank you Hair_bobbles. I'm already thinking ahead about this and will heed your advice. Hopefully it will be as smooth to sort out as your experience. I'll stay unto date via the forum and will post any experiences I have to help others.
IVA completed!!! Looking forward to getting my life back! Stay positive and you'll get there in the end.
