Well five years have flown by. 60th payment made today. Feel like celebrating but before i do i'm trying to contact DFD to double check that I'm ok to cancel standing order. DFD seriously need to sort out their customer phone line. always put on hold for approx 7 mins only to be cut off! Other than that, thank you DFD line for seeing me through to a bright new debt free future :)
Last payment made on 1st Nov 2011. Happy to be debt free!

I found this exact time extremely frustrating you know you are at the end and just want confirmation NOW......ahhhhh We were also with DFD.

The lady there just asked me to call back near end of week as my last payment should by then have cleared at DFD's end. Then I'll be able to cancel standing order. Completion cert will follow in due course. Oscar I'll still check in on the forum :)
