Been paid and last payment for IVA has gone to FJ. I feel so free. Now can't wait for January pay day as it will be the first time for years that my wages will be mine.
Life after IVA is wonderful.

Thanks everyone. Now that it's becoming a reality I've started to think about "life after iva" Our iva lasted for 5 years 6 months, so after we receive the cc (God willing it won't be held up for too long) how long do we wait before clearing up our CR?
Life after IVA is wonderful.

Well done Wiggle. CR will start clearing itself on the 6th anniversary of your start date. Nearer the time get copies of the files to make sure default dates are set to on or before the IVA started, so they drop off in time.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

well done wiggle , great post

Re clearing up your credit file, ive been there and worn the tshirt recently , so would suggest the following.....DO NOTHING

my IVA lasted just under 6 yrs, so with closure delays saw 6 years 4 months pass by. My credit file took care of itself and defaulted accounts just dropped off. The only was I intervened, was when after several weeks DFD still hadnt notified the insolvency service of my completion certificate, I emailed it to them and 2 days later i dropped off the insolvency register

I now have an above average credit score, but havnt felt the need to apply for credit. I have well and truly learned a lseeon and in all honestly and no disrespect meant to anyone with a drink problem, but I fear that like a reformed alcoholic, for whom it is so easy to fall of the waggon by having just one drink, that if I took credit again, this would be the rocky road to a second period of excessive credit, so for me best i abstain !!

well done again

Orchid5 , any progress for you yet ?
Last payment made April 2012
