Last payment next week. All 60 made with no issues, just one question remains. Why do Grant Thornton need to do a final review. All payslips i understand, but wht an income expenditure seeing as its now finished?

Hi and welcome.

I believe it is just to make sure that you have paid across all monies, i.e. any overtime, bonuses before the end. Nothing to worry about.

Congratulations on finishing.

HI Dave and welcome to the forum, I'm guessing it's just to clear things up and bring a smooth conclusion to your IVA, well done on making all 60 payments without any issues. One of our more expert posters will be along soon and I'm sure they'll know why the I&E is required.

You planning a celebration?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Congratulations on making it to the end, they all do a final review at the end including a Income and Expenditure.

I just did my review last week too and this has got to be probably the longest 7 weeks of my IVA.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

Basically the IP has to sign everything off as all correct and ship shape. I am sure all of us would like to check everything before putting our names to it. Don't forget your IP has obligations toward the creditors as well as to you.

All that said --- WELL DONE on finishing the course. :-)
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
