60 months has dragged but flown by at the same time. How Bizzare. My last payment went out of the bank today and it's time to cancel the standing order(as confirmed by CF).
It's a lovely feeling but still don't believe it properly until I get my completion certificate through.
My wife's DMP should be finished in Feb 17.
Because we have been on interest only mortgage for 9 years our IVA/DMA payments will be swallowed up playing catchup. But at least overtime etc can be kept going forward at least.
Just like a massive shout out for Bright Oak (Amy/Phil) as they started us both off on the road to debt free life then after 2 years of DMP suggested I moved into IVA. I switched to IVA with Jones Giles (later to become PJG Recovery) and what can I say about Mel and her team, they were brilliant and supportive all the way. Then for whatever reasons got moved across to Credit Fix. Not the best at communications but a smooth run upto a finish line today.
even though I haven't contributed much over the five years I've logged on several times most days to keep the light at the end of the tunnel real. I would like to thank all of the forum moderators/experts and the normal guys who contribute to this marvellous forum and have helped me keep the faith in my sometimes dark moments. I would also like to say to those just starting their journeys That you will get to the end before you know it.
Signing off now coz I'm waffling

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.
