To be fair you should be checking everything anyway given the amounts of money involved. Do not be rushed or pressured into signing without giving yourself time to re-read proposals several times. You should also always get a 2nd and 3rd opinion on your options.

I think Fruitcake has another active post running too so may be frustrated by this issue. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

when an iva goes well, then it must be a good thing. when when you are treated unfairly and know they are lying and you try to correct the matter in a fair way, they end up bullying you because they dont want to lose face or are down right greedy (not worked it out between the two, maybe both) then what hope have us any of us got, next time it could be you! i cant take anymore.

I can tell your frustrated, but i am not sure putting this up is a greta idea especially when new members are probably facing worries on their debts and trying to scare them into finding a solution is a bit harsh.

Liek anything you purchase or sign up to, always read the T&C and if unsure ASK beforehand

If you are having major problems with a company, surely their is a complaints process or somebody higher up who can help?

Unfortunately the nature of the forum means that most people only post when something goes wrong, not to say how well their IVA is going. What we need to remember is that many people are happy with their IVAs and see them through to the conclusion.

I think it is balanced and great for people to be negative as well as positive, but the thread would make people who are trying to decide on an IVA think all companies are the same, it would be more helpful on what went wrong and who with. :)

I wasn;t having a go at anyone BTW, just stating it is probably the hardest decision anyone will make..:)
