i just try not to think about how many left but just keep paying the monthly subscription fee for yearly report.if you can make it this far jan then at least if worst comes to the worst you can try for a f@f on what you already paid.keep going and have a word with payplan about the next payment.
cc received 6th January 2014 now upwards and onwards

There's no way they would accept a full and final as we have way too much equity in the house and we be able to make payments just not sure how much yet. Payplan are aware of the situation.

I know what it is like Jan to want to retire. I am not 50 until the back end of next year, which I think is the earliest I can leave, but this would be with penalty. My actual T&C's are for me to retire at 55, but this seems so far away. I wish they would bring out another reasonable VEDS package... the sooner the better.

I want to reduce my hours but not retire, I can't ever imagine retiring but I suppose I'm going to have to. Hubby on the other hand would retire tomorrow given the chance. x

My worst nightmare! (not to be at home all day with your hubby!) I get so bored so quick, that is my problem. If I'm not busy doing something I'm bored.

I'll be 52 when I graduate from this degree and that's keeping me busy at the moment.

[:D][:D]

I will probably spend a lot of time on the computer and also reading amongst the normal humdrum everyday tasks.

Not saying I want to retire from work altogether, just my present job, which at the moment I can leave at 55 with pension. I would then like to get myself a little part time job, or start up a little business from home making celebration cakes. Could never see me not doing anything.

Can honestly say that having now been retired for a year, I cannot stand the thought of not having a structure to the week (suspect thats 47 years working full time without a break). I do voluntary work 2/3 days a week and odd though it might sound, am really looking forward to the christmas break!!!

I don't think mrs torch would let me sit around all day watching jeremy kyle and loose women, my worst nightmare anyway.
Since my mum saw out her last days in a hospice i have wanted to offer my services back on a voluntary basis in some capacity, if finances allow thats my goal.

Its certainly very rewarding, and the fact that you are not being paid gives you a totally different positive view because you are doing something you enjoy and something you have specifically chosen...
