I have mentioned previously, that, although our IP is Grant Thornton, we were originally referred to them by another helpsite named Myvesta.org.uk and our standing order was paid to a company called Synergie.
Had a letter today to say that as from September our standing order woud be collected by Grant Thornton.
Anyone else had a similar letter?

That is an interesting connection. I knew that there was a relationship between Grant Thornton and Myvesta, but was not aware that there was any connection with Synergi.

As i said, it's a bit complicated.
Firstly, i found the Myvesta website whilst surfing for help.
They put me in touch with Grant Thornton, who carried on with my IVA.
When my IVA was given the ok, i received a letter from Myvesta to say they would be collecting my payments, which they then pass on to GT.
According to my bank statement, my payment is made to Synergence.

How strange - but as long as you are paying and they are paying creditors I don't suppose this makes any difference at all to the outcome. Synergence perhaps have no connection with Synergi - another well known IP firm.

Strange set up agreed.
Now the letter today, telling us we will be paying GT direct from September.
Perhaps that's why we never had our first review?

Sensible to pay GT directly. They are a top class firm.

Synergi was owned by Steven Rhode & Sean Tyrer who also co-owned Myvesta. Synergi were collecting payments (for a fee) for GT. Myvesta have now moved back to the US and Synergi no longer exist........... Steve Rhode and Sean Tyrer are no longer business partners. Steve has gone back to the U.S and runs the Myvesta site from there.

I don't think this is really relevant now given that the thread is over two years old.
